Dr. Nancy Sidell, director of the M.U. Social Work program and chair of the Social Work, Anthropology and Sociology Department, has been appointed to the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors by Governor Ed Rendell. The appointment required the approval of the State Senate. Dr. Sidell will serve a four-year term. The role of the board is to oversee the licensing process for social workers, therapists and counselors.
